Chapel Program Introduction
The Hockey Ministries chapel program was established in 1978 to serve the spiritual needs of hockey players in the NHL. Since then, the program has grown to serve the needs of players in many different leagues and countries. Currently, HMI Chapel Programs are active in 41 leagues across North America, including the NHL, AHL, ECHL, CHL, OHL, WHL, QMJHL, USHL, NAHL, SPHL, and the NCAA. Additionally, we provide chapel programs for many youth teams and leagues scattered throughout the United States and Canada.
The chapel program is not bound to North American borders. We also conduct chapels in various locations throughout Europe and have seen interest in expansion
The Goal
Our goal is to help hockey players at all levels of the game reach their full potential by equipping them with the tools necessary to handle difficult situations and challenge them with the truth found in the Bible. We exist to serve hockey players and coaches by providing guidance and direction for those facing life's tough questions.
